Why Can't I Ever Get A Flight Attendant As Entertaining As This One?

My wife is a flight attendant and she is physically incapable of such a performance. She does have a great Christmas safety announcement in the spirit of the Night Before Christmas though.

This was great. I can't wait to share it with her - when she's home from her latest trip!

We love Southwest! Thanks for posting this cool clip. Once when we flew with them, a particularly pretty attendant sat down next to our then 5 year old son. She sang:

We love you, you love us, we're much better than the bus. Fly with us and you will see . . . . Marry one of us and you'll fly free.

Then, she asked him if he were married. Of course, he said no. She asked him if he thought being married to her would be good, and at that point, he became very interested in the scenery outside the window.

When I first met my wife it was "Marry me fly free. " These days, with crowded airways and smaller regional jets, it's more like "Marry me, fly standby."

Jim--It's too bad airlines are in a downward spiral, guess you're lucky to fly standby. Seems like whenever I go anywhere of late, I might as well be flying standby-my on-time arrival is just as iffy.--Steve

Kim--Gee, sounds like Southwest has cornered the market on creative flight attendants. Good for them!--Steve

K&V--Agreed! --Steve

I can't say what I was expecting when I came over to visit, but glad I did. Having fun at work is so important.
